Administrative Assistant/bookkeeper

**HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**
Working closely with the team, your role will ensure the financial health of the firm, while assisting with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth flow of the organization. This will include but are not be limited to:
- Payroll tasks, including monitoring payroll on Intuit QuickBooks and updating any payroll changes, including commission and vacation pay.
- Utilize Intuit QuickBooks to record and track financial transactions, and Buildertrend to manage bill and invoice payments for individual projects.
- Organize and enter all bill payments and create electronic copies of all receipts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the firm, including tracking expenses and generating relevant financial reports using Excel.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate finances and timely reporting and payment of all taxes.
- Other administrative and bookkeeping tasks, as required.
**WHO YOU ARE**
- Experience and competency with Intuit Quickbooks is required, and ability to quickly learn other softwares to manage and organize finances.
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, in particular Excel for financial reporting.
- Excellent data entry skills and ability to analyze and organize financial information.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize administrative and bookkeeping responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication that emphasizes customer service, professionalism, and team support.
- Certificate or diploma in Administrative Assistant or Bookkeeping is an asset, but not required. Full training will be provided.
- Related education, experience, and skill set that demonstrates ability to meet all administrative and bookkeeping responsibilities.
- Two professional references that can attest to your skills and qualifications.
