**Responsibilities**

The Head Tennis Professional will report to the Tennis Director and the Board of Directors, working closely with the Membership and Junior Program Directors. Key responsibilities include:

- Managing and delivering all tennis programming for the season, including adult and junior programs, summer camps, and acting as the face of the junior program.
- Assisting the Tennis Director with hiring and managing staff required for tennis programming, with all staff selections approved by EYTC.
- Organizing groups and ensuring players of all skill levels are appropriately placed.
- Overseeing and managing private and semi-private lessons at the club.
- Observing and assessing Junior Tennis Program participants to evaluate skill development and progress.
- Attending meetings and assisting in planning programming, team activities (e.g., Men’s A, Ladies A, Senior, and Junior teams), and competitions (e.g., house league and ladder events).
- Help deliver special events and community gatherings.
- Promoting member participation in all tennis programs.
- Maintaining a consistent and visible leadership presence at the club.

**Key Qualifications**
- Preferred certification: Active TPA Club Pro 2.
- Professional liability insurance (TPA or equivalent).
- Friendly, caring, outgoing, punctual, and reliable demeanor.
- Willingness to work hard in a short Canadian tennis season, both on and off the court.
- Passion for the game of tennis and commitment to providing a fun and competitive environment for junior and adult players.
- Strong administrative skills, self-motivation, and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to create a welcoming environment for all participants, ensuring students feel engaged and successful in every session.

**Remuneration**

Compensation will be competitive and on par or above similar positions in the area.

**How to Apply**

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
