**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**

Reporting to the Manager, Communications, the Assistant, Communications will be a member of the communications team and will assist in several communications and media relations initiatives.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Communications department
- Assist in the collection and selection of photography for all print and electronic communications and maintain photo database for organization
- Work with digital team, produce and publish content for Tennis Canada and National Bank Open websites
- Research, write, and edit media releases and advisories
- Produce daily media watch news clippings
- Assist in the content creation and production of National Bank Open, fan and media guides
- Assist with management of team of volunteers and summer staff during tournament
- Assist with set-up and operations of professional, working media center, and provide world-class service to both national and international media members
- Assist with all other PR initiatives

**WHO ARE YOU?**
- Post-secondary degree in Public Relations/Communications or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of experience working in communications, sports, or journalism
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
- Excellent organization and time management skills and attention to detail
- Capacity to work independently as well as a team player
- Show tact, great work ethic, professionalism
- Knowledge of tennis
- Bilingual French (asset)
