Bookkeeper/administrative Assistant

We are a construction/building and contracting company.
We are currently looking for a permanent full time Bookkeeper with experience with QuickBooks accounting system.
We are looking for someone who is proficient with word and excel, must be well organized, honest, punctual, has good communication skills and has the ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced / expert level QuickBooks including:
- Able to handle multiple entities with intercompany transactions
- Payroll using QuickBooks
- General knowledge in maintaining tax documents
- Bank reconciliations
- Inputting invoices, expenses, credits, adjusting entries
- Run required government tax forms
- Run job cost reports
- HST and WSIB remittances
- Credit card processing
- Knowledgeable in current Provincial & Federal Guidelines
- Form Schedules
General office support including:
- Answer phones / take messages
- Proficient in MS Office at an advanced level
General office Administration
- Able to create spreadsheets with mínimal information to produce useful information
- Filing documents as well as retrieving from archive
- Willing to share professional references
- Solid work ethic with demonstrated performance in punctuality, work completion, communication with other employees & customers
- Able to carry out administrative duties assigned by managers
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $23.00 per hour
