The Ontario Electrical League (OEL) is a non profit member based organization that has represented the electrical industry in Ontario since 1922. The OEL’s mission is to _Promote, Strengthen and Represent the Electrical Industry in Ontario_.
We are currently hiring for the full-time position of Project Coordinator
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
**Membership**
- Follow up on any rejected credit card payments and updating PADs as needed
- Assist with annual membership renewals
**Administration**
- Answering telephones
- Prepare membership verification letters for program partners
- Manage the OEL Job Board
**Annual Conference**
- Assist with general preparation, duties include printing name badges, photocopying, packing, etc.
- Attend the annual conference (5 days within Ontario)
- Onsite duties include unpacking and setting up office, delegate kit assembly, registration and general organizational help
**Employer Engagement Program**
- Complete registration forms with participants, verifying all information before submitting to the Ministry
- Obtain required documents from program participants (EFT forms, Registered Training Agreements (RTA) etc.)
- Manage all claims with participants, includes requesting forms be filled in and submitted in a timely matter complete with supporting documents
- Process claims, including filling out excels to calculate payments, checking and correcting claim forms, and verifying data etc.
- Work with other team members, training as needed
- Promote the three EEP contractor groups to participating employers
- Set up and maintain group lists for lead mentor and assign employers to other mentors.
- Set up contractor group Zoom meeting, send out invites, track attendance and open meetings
- Maintain project tracking excel sheet, including detailed information
- Assist with recruiting employers and apprentices to participate in the project research study.
- Prepare required Activity Reports for the Ministry.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet project deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work with others to accomplish objectives
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Previous experience in project coordination and planning would be considered an asset
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant Ontario legislation and regulations
Annual salary: $46,000 plus benefits
