**Summary**

The Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC), located at 120 Promenade du Portage in Gatineau Quebec, is looking for a Cafe Manager to join their ranks in their newly outfitted state of the art space.

The Cafe Manager’s main area of work would be in the Café Bouleau space. The café focusses on indigenous cuisines, backed by a from scratch food program and boasts a four-group head Rancilio coffee machine with a curated coffee and tea program by the finest local merchants.

**Job Duties**
- Creation and curation of the tea and coffee program
- Implement, oversee, and maintain the daily cleaning of all coffee and tea related machinery
- Fulfil internal and external catering orders punctually and with mínimal supervision
- Ensure all coffee and tea finished products are up to the standards set forth by the leadership
- Liaise with the Food and Beverage leadership to create new and seasonal coffee and tea offerings
- Implement a coffee and tea training regimen with all staff members involved in Café operations
- Proactively raise any maintenance or quality concerns regarding the coffee and tea program to the Food and Beverage leadership team
- Work with the Food and Beverage leadership team to create and implement recipes and training procedures
- Café Bouleau is a customer facing operation, high levels of hospitality and customer care are paramount.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 2 years experience as a barista in a high caliber environment
- A minimum of 2 year of management
- A willingness to create innovative coffees and tea that work with the seasons and trends
- A high level of sanitation and hygiene
- High level to attention-to-detail
- Friendly, positive, and happy personality
- Embodies the highest levels of hospitality
- High levels of communication
- Knowledge of allergens and the agility to work around them

**Work Conditions**
- Must be available weekends and holidays to fit the needs of the organization
- Overtime as required
- Hazards associated with the trade
- Physical ability to lift up to 40lb.
