As a Café Manager, you’ll be responsible for running a café. You'll lead your team of baristas as the front line of Second Cup; providing **_exceptional _**service to every guest and maintaining operational standards within your café. You’ll lead café operations, guest experience, product quality and financial performance
- ensuring that your café’s sales and profit goals are met. This includes; inventory management, team development and staffing. Best of all, you'll help your team create a world class experience every day.

- Champion of world class guest service in café, by training, communicating and holding your Baristas accountable for the delivery of exceptional guest service.
- Implementation expert of Second Cup programs by developing action plans to train and motivate your team to execute company initiatives and adhere to operational standards while holding your team accountable.
- Business expert of your café - who can review your café environment, key performance indicators and identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement. You will use electronic/online tools include labor tracking, profit maker - cash/grind sheet, payroll, purchase log, inventory tracking, flash report, weekly cost reconciliation and P&L, Period end Profit and Loss, and cash management resources.
- Café Manager who regularly references your budget and targets to assess financial performance and identify areas of success and opportunity and develop action plans to drive café sales.

**YOU BRING WITH YOU**:

- Experience Managing in Restaurant, Café or Retail (2-3 years)
- Management experience in demonstrating skill with training and developing your team (2+ years) and upholding company standards.
- Experience analyzing financial reports (P&L or revenue summaries)
- Direct experience working with a budget.
- Experience managing and developing plans/targets for P&L and inventory control
- The ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis, attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays and flexible hours that may include a total of 40 or more hours per week
- 3 or more years of experience in a role that requires frequent interaction with guests, fulfilling guest requests and responsibility for addressing guest issues, questions and suggestions.
