If you have a passion for helping people through coordinating care and care givers, than we have the right job for you Care At Home Services is expanding our team and we are looking for a dynamic, customer service driven and multi-tasker who is ready to be part of a growing company that helps seniors stay safely in their home and provide casual staff to our facilities. Pay is competitive starting at $20 per hour. We are looking for a casual staff who can cover sick time, vacation coverage and to work Stat's.
**Qualifications**:
- Customer service experience - call center or office reception
- Administrative experience in health care an asset
- Post-secondary in the health care industry is an asset
**Responsibilities**:
- Following our process, scheduling health care staff (companions/care aides/LPN/RN/Rec aide) with clients in the community
- Scheduling replacement staff in assigned facilities.
- Confirming schedules with our employees; clients; families and facility staff
- Prioritizing requests and following up accordingly
- Communicating to the team during shift and hand-off
- Escalating concerns to our nurses and management team
- Administrative work as required.
**Hours : CASUAL, VAC COVERAGE and SOME STATS**
- OFFICE hours are :_
Monday - Friday 0800-1700 and or 1100-1900
Saturday and Sunday : 0600-1800
- ONCALL hours are :_
SAT and SUN : 1800-2200 ( Work from Home )
MON - FRI : 1900-2200 ( Work from Home )
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- On call
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Front desk: 2 years (required)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (required)
