[ a day in the life of a **office manager** at co-elevate ]
- Attend a stand-up meeting with your scrum team to discuss yesterday’s challenges and plan for the day’s tasks
- Overseeing general office operation.
- Greeting visitors, answering a high-volume of incoming phone calls and delivering world-class service to our customers.
- Coordinating appointments and meetings and managing staff calendars and schedules.
- Coordinating travel, including flight, hotel, and car rental reservations.
- Purchasing office supplies and equipment and maintaining proper stock levels.
- A daily break for a game of table tennis or foosball (if inclined)
- Attend one of co‑elevate’s group events such as potlucks, lunch & learns, book club, etc.
- Participate in one of co‑elevate’s charity causes such as blood drives, toy drives, food drives, or seasonal in-house charity events
- Managing timesheet program (CORE)Coordinate with bookkeeper with respect to payroll (hourly employees, new employees & outgoing employees)
- Assisting other departments as required
- Special Projects
- Supervising, mentoring, training, and coaching our office staff and delegating assignments to ensure maximum productivity.
- Other duties as assigned/required
- At the end of the day, it is commonplace for our leadership to send staff members home to ensure work-life balance

- College degree preferred
- Previous experience in an Administrative Support role
- Technologically Savvy
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to work independently
- Strong working Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong working knowledge of Social media.
- Experience working in Human Resources - an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Creativity and innovation in finding solutions
- Fluent in English
