The Office Administrator is the backbone of our local office, ensuring smooth operations and facility systems. Collaborating with leadership, this role calls for a self-motivated and collaborative individual who thrives on variety. Impeccable organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

**What would a typical day be like?**

**Business Administration**:

- Manage day-to-day office activities, including visitor management, phone calls, mail, and employee access system.
- Take minutes during weekly team meetings.
- Set up employee profiles and maintain customer and vendor files.

**Facility Management**:

- Support office equipment and manage inventory and replacement of office supplies.
- Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and access.
- Handle package logistics and office maintenance coordination.

**Document Management**:

- Assist in organizing, managing, and tracking project documentation.
- Collect, scan, and upload documents, following established procedures.
- Assign and request document numbers as needed.

**General Administrative Support**:

- Oversee office, kitchen, and bathroom supplies.
- Manage ERP (Deltek) company and client management.
- Coordinate catering and event organization.
- Provide general administrative assistance as required.

**Support for Other JMP Systems Locations**:

- Remote support for Cambridge, ON, and Fayetteville, AR offices.
- Occasional travel to Cambridge, ON and Fayetteville, AR for on-site support

**What qualifies you for this opportunity?**
- Demonstrated experience in office administration or equivalent role.
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline (Business or Office Administration) preferred.
- Familiarity with engineering environments is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
- Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Cooperative, diplomatic, and considerate demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
