Social Media Specialist

The Social Media Specialist at MK Auto Group is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies. the incumbent will create engaging content, optimize company pages, and foster community interaction. With expertise in social media marketing and analytics, the Social Media Specialist will drive customer engagement, website traffic, and revenue growth.

**General Duties and Accountabilities**:

- Support, develop, and manage all active social media platforms
- Plan, create, and publish organic and paid social media posts/ campaigns.
- Implement and ensure brand consistency throughout social media posts.
- Source, coordinate, and organize photoshoots to build a consistent library of content
- Brainstorm and execute marketing incentives to increase social media following
- Connect with local businesses for cross-features, giveaways, and other marketing incentives
- Source, organize, and develop relationships with social media influencers
- Understanding of Google Analytics and usage of tracked data to improve/ maintain performance paid social media campaigns.
- Writing, editing, and proofreading content.
- Optimize content according to SEO best practice strategy.
- Collaboratively develop, optimize, and publish website content.
- Research and contribute to the development of new ideas and trends in social platforms
- Content Calendar: Develop and maintain a content calendar to plan and schedule posts.
- Audience Engagement: Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a sense of community.
- Attend events and produce live social media content.
- Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends.

**Requirements**:

- 2 - 4 years years of social media experience
- Understanding of social media analytics and data analysis
- Previous copywriting experiences an asset
- Strong experience with all major social media platforms including best practices, post types, sponsoring posts, linking considerations, and scheduling
- Ability to see the whole user journey, and focus on the goal in order to optimize user experience to attain that goal
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and other social media analytics tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple social media accounts simultaneously
- Strong research skills to identify industry trends and competitor strategies
