Vovia is seeking a Paid Social Media Specialist in Calgary to manage a number of our client’s online advertising campaigns.

**About You**
You understand the difference between organic and paid social media campaigns. You’re analytical, always learning, and love a challenge. You work well independently, but also enjoy working with awesome people in a team setting. Your last boss would describe you as dependable, detail-oriented and well organized. You’re curious and always learning about the latest digital marketing techniques.
**About the Role**
This role involves the planning, implementation and optimization of paid digital advertising campaigns for clients, across social media and digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube.). This role requires a strong desire to deliver results in the form of increased leads, sales, or qualified traffic, as well as an appetite for meeting and exceeding client goals. It’s a great opportunity for an analytically-minded person with a passion for KPI-driven marketing.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Advise on digital advertising needs and develop advertising strategies.
- Development of and implementation of ad campaigns.
- Advise on ad creative and/or write ad copy.
- Ongoing account optimization based on client goals.
- Preparation of periodic and ad hoc reports.
- Work collaboratively with other marketing verticals (SEM, SEO, offline, etc.).
- Present results to clients in a clear, professional and effective manner.
**Core Skill Set**
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing digital media campaigns (the more experience, the better).
- Experience managing paid campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube and Google Ads campaigns required. Other digital channels are a plus.
- Have valid Facebook Blueprint certifications and Google Ads certifications.
- Bachelor degree in business (marketing or other relevant field) is desirable.
- Extreme attention to detail is a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Superior data analysis skills.
- Very strong Microsoft Excel skills.
