Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Recruiter will be responsible for providing full-life cycle recruitment support in a high-volume environment, for a range of positions within the supply chain organization.
At Finning, the recruitment team is focused on being a trusted advisor to our clients. We are viewed as the experts in recruitment and partner with our business to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions to real-time recruitment challenges. As a team we are passionate about attraction, recruitment and selection and work collaboratively to ensure we are all successful.
**Job Description**:
- Provide recruitment expertise in all aspects of attraction, recruitment, assessment, and selection activities through a coordinated recruitment process.
- Proactively partner with the business to develop an in-depth understanding of the company's resourcing needs to assist in targeting top talent.
- Create prescreen questions, assessments and interview guides based on the competency framework.
- Coordinate interviews with respective managers and participate in interviews (as required.)
- Streamline and communicate recruitment procedures and programs to managers.
- Contribute to the execution of the social media and digital recruitment strategies as they relate to recruitment.
- Support ongoing recruitment/selection training to managers and supervisors.
- Provide expert advice and coaching to leaders
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive attraction, recruitment, and selection experience in supply chain, finance, human resources, legal, technology and sales
- Post-secondary education - Degree, or Diploma in Human Resources; CPHR or RPR designation(s) an asset.
- Customer service experience, including developing and improving customer relationships internally and externally.
- Experience with data mining, using advanced search techniques, cold calling, and name generation list building.
- Proficient with web-based recruiting systems, internet tools, direct sourcing methods and advanced skills in MS Office.
- Previous experience working in a high volume recruitment environment is an asset
- Experience using Workday would be consider an asset.
