Edmonton, Canada YMCA OF NORTHERN ALBERTA Full time

In this role, you will know success if we are able to hire 5+ high-quality and caring people per week and guide the new hires and managers through our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) onboarding process. You will build relationships and be present in our community as a representative of the Y’s career opportunities. You will model the Y values in all interactions and encourage the same in others.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Administer job requisitions and postings for our Child Care area and other positions
- Enter new hire information into ADP Workforce Now in a timely manner
- Ensure that diversity and inclusion considerations are embedded into the recruitment and selection process
- Collect recruitment metrics to drive operational decisions, report on these metrics in collaboration with P&C colleagues
- Travel to different child care locations throughout the Edmonton region, and travel 1-2 times per year to Grande Prairie, Wood Buffalo, and Red Deer regions as required
- Prepare, coordinate and represent the YMCA at local and regional job fairs and community engagement events
- Collaborates with the HR Business Partner and leaders throughout the organization to build and alter recruitment strategies
- When appropriate and business needs require, build and maintain relationships with employment stakeholders (educational institutions, employment non-profits, and industry stakeholders)
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications department on recruitment initiatives
- Consistently represent YMCA’s values and mission

**What You’ll Need**
- Related post-secondary certificate or degree is an asset
- 1+ years of recruitment experience, additional HR or customer service experience will be considered
- Eagerness to research and implement recruitment best practices
- Passion for building connections and meeting new people
- Prior experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now or similar would be an asset), including data entry and recruitment metric reporting
- Comfort with public speaking and speaking to stakeholder groups
- Must exhibit professionalism and commitment to confidentiality
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable sector and where Child Intervention/Enhanced Security check
