The Human Resources team at Southmedic has the primary focus of fostering a positive employment experience for all team members. At Southmedic, our passionate team produces medical devices on a three-shift manufacturing operation to support global healthcare needs. To provide our employees with the best support possible, this role is a dedicated in-office position.
**As the Payroll & Benefits Coordinator**, you will provide ongoing support to the compensation functions of the organization. This includes employee relations, processing biweekly employee payroll, supporting payroll records, group benefit administration and communication, and various administrative activities to support the overall Human Resources team.
- Ultimate focus on positively impacting the overall employee experience by building relationships and connections with employees and leadership team members.
- 2-5 years of payroll experience, ideally within an HR department setting
- Experience within _UKG Pro_ or other related HRIS products
- Motivation to pursue continued professional development through the Canadian Payroll Association and Human Resources Professional Association
