Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards and People Technology, the Manager, HRIS, People & Culture, will be responsible to support designated HCM areas in Workday, such as core HR, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Talent, Compensation and Learning and Development as well as the oversight of a small team.
- Responsibilities- Serve as a strong consultative partner to business and functional leaders to continuously improve service delivery.-
- Lead governance process, road mapping exercises and cross-functional resource planning.-
- Drive the deployment of feature releases and system maintenance, ensuring client requirements are met.-
- Evaluate feasibility of system modifications and enhancements.-
- Lead the Workday support team ensuring day-to-day systems support is balanced with strategic enhancements and projects.-
- Overall accountability for data governance, security and compliance-
- Ensure up-to-date documentation of system functions, processes and capabilities-
- Provide consultation to People & Culture Business Partners and People & Culture Centre of Excellence, building domain knowledge, gathering requirements, providing solutions and impact analysis.Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use Workday.-
- Configure, test, validate and implement business process changes in Workday.-
- Assist in testing of integrations, security, annual events.-
- Maintain master data values in Workday (ex: Job Profile, Job Family, Job Group, Roles, Custom Organization Types, Positions, Locations).-
- Serve as an escalation resource for Tier 2 and 3 issues.-
- Provide knowledge sharing with Workday team and clients as appropriate.-
- Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen.- Qualifications- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or equivalent combination of training and work experience-
- Understanding of People & Culture operations and experience in employee data management an asset-
- 5+ years’ Workday HCM experience a requirement-
- People & Culture functional and system experience preferred-
- 2+ years’ experience in a people leadership role an asset-
- Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups-
- Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment-
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them-
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail-
- Strong written and oral communication skills-
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives-
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills-
