**Job Title**: Social Media Specialist

**Location**: Calgary Alberta (Flexible off-site with some face-to-face meetings required)
**Hours**: 16-20 hours per month, with potential for expansion
**Compensation**: $26 per hour

We are seeking an energetic, positive individual to join our dynamic team as a Social Media and Program Promotion Consultant.

**Position Overview**:
As a Social Media and Program Promotion Consultant, you will play a key role in enhancing our organization’s visibility and promoting our international training programs. You will be responsible for creating, managing, and executing social media campaigns, designing promotional materials, and developing advertising plans. This is a flexible, part-time position with the potential to grow as our organization continues to expand.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop creative and effective ideas for promoting international training programs.
- Design visually appealing promotional materials using **Canva**.
- Plan, create, and manage advertising campaigns across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Create an advertising plan and develop a regular posting schedule to ensure consistent visibility and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with a small, fast-paced team to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Attend occasional in-person meetings for brainstorming, strategy development, and team updates.
- Stay up-to-date on current social media trends and platforms to optimize reach and engagement.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in social media management, program promotion, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing creative social media strategies.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, advertising tools, and content scheduling.
- Energetic, positive attitude, with the ability to generate and implement creative ideas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- Flexibility to work remotely with occasional face-to-face meetings.
