Our services include housing, complex needs support, life skills development, community engagement, and opportunities to form meaningful social networks and roles.

**Position: Team Leader**

This role involves direct supervision and support of staff and clients in our programs for adults with developmental disabilities. The Team Leader will manage daily operations, ensure high-quality service delivery, and support staff development. Additional duties may be assigned based on client needs and agency requirements.

**Reporting and Supervision**
- Supervise Support Staff and oversee program operations.
- Report directly to the Community Residential Manager and collaborate closely with the Operations Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure compliance with _Creating Excellence Together (CET)_ standards for homes and staff.
- Deliver high-quality services to clients.
- Develop and oversee individualized plans to enhance skills and competencies.
- Effectively manage client behaviors and foster a positive team environment.
- Mentor and coach Support Staff, providing performance feedback and evaluations.
- Manage scheduling, approve shifts and absences, and fill vacancies as needed.
- Implement safety protocols, Occupational Health and Safety procedures, and client-specific protocols.
- Maintain documentation, records, and complete bookkeeping duties.
- Perform light housekeeping and simple meal preparation as required.

**Qualifications**
- Degree or diploma in Community Rehabilitation, Disability Services, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (or equivalent education and experience).
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams or supervising employees.
- Knowledge of First Nations traditions, beliefs, and healing practices.
- Awareness of the diversity within Indigenous and LGBTQ2S+ communities.
- Understanding of trauma recovery principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis management abilities.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule.
- Ability to build positive relationships with team members.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license, clean Driver’s Abstract, and $2 million vehicle insurance.
- Current Emergency First Aid and CPR certification.
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Pay: $22.75 per hour
