**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Complex Support Worker, you will:

- Help individuals set and achieve personal goals.
- Assist with daily activities such as independent living skills, social engagement, and leisure activities.
- Provide behavioral and mental health support.
- Support individuals with health-related tasks, including medical appointments, medication administration, and emotional well-being.
- Assist with household responsibilities such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
- Encourage meaningful relationships and promote independence.
- Uphold individual rights and advocate for client empowerment.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Post-secondary education in Disability Studies, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle crisis situations effectively with strong intervention strategies.
- First Aid/CPR, CPI training, and Medication Administration certification (preferred).
- Must provide a clear criminal record check with a vulnerable sector screening.
- Valid Driver’s License, clean Driver’s Abstract, and $2 million vehicle insurance coverage.

**A Criminal Record Check (with Vulnerable Sector) that is dated within the last 6 months**

**Proof of eligibility to work in Canada**

**Class 5 Alberta Government Issued Driver’s License**

**A Driver's Abstract that is dated within the last 6 months**

**Copy of education listed in resume.**

**Please note that given the nature of our work, proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.**

Pay: $20.75 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
