Elysian Ventures provides services and supports to children and adults with cognitive challenges. We are currently seeking a **Program Coordinator** to oversee a new complex needs program located in Sylvan Lake, AB.

Some of the responsibilities for a Program Coordinator will include:

- Responsible for all day to day operations of the program
- Support and supervise staff and clients in the program; able to problem solve in a professional, respectful manner
- Accessing community supports
- Development and implementation of care plans
- Ensure use of appropriate procedure regarding intake/admission, client contact, reports and discharges
- Evaluate staff performance and participate in the hiring of new staff
- Payroll and financial duties for the program
- Staffing coverage and scheduling
- On-Call for the program when applicable
- Minimum 2 years experience in providing care for adults with complex needs
- 2 years of supervisory experience would be an asset
- Strong interpersonal and team-related skills
- Knowledge of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention
- Experience in managing the environment to ensure safety
- Combination of experience with First Nation, Metis and/or Inuit culture
- Experience working under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Organization and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience and understanding of health issues, such as FASD, addictions, intergenerational trauma and suicidal tendencies
