Supervise all contracted mobile technicians. Coordinate all out-of-town service requirements and vendors. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** - Co-ordinate road service area breakdowns. Log calls and issue purchase orders and process paperwork as necessary - Co-ordinate and supervise technicians - Co-ordinate service suppliers for damage quoting - Obtain approval and purchase orders for customers equipmentrepairs - Evaluate equipment for Capital improvements, repairs, downgrades, and disposal. - Back up parts and rental coordinator as necessary - Co-ordinate after hours service and on call mechanics schedules - Co-ordinate specified customer service requirements - Review preventative maintenance due lists (back up only) - Review and authorize mobile mechanics work orders (back up only) - Ensure staff Abide by all posted safety and ISO guidelines **RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY SPECIFICALLY RELATED TO QUALITY** - Ensure newly purchased equipment meets documented manufacturer specifications - Evaluate mobile technicians’ abilities and co-ordinate training upgrading - Evaluate vendor repair quality - Evaluate and approve qualified service vendors for service network - Ensure that all out bound equipment is certified and operating safely **QUALIFICATIONS** - Minimum high school graduate/College Diploma in Business Adm./or Experience - Trade school course as trailer/Truck trailer repair mechanic or 2-year certified trailer technician or minimum 5 years in the trailer rental/lease/service industry focusing on parts and service - Strong leadership skills managing and coordinating a team, evaluating performance, as well as providing feedback on a regular basis, and supporting employee development and growth - Class "DZ" license an asset but not essential - Knowledge and certificate in WHMIS and transportation of Dangerous Goods as asset - CPPI qualified an asset, but not essential - **Trailcon is an equal opportunity employer (EOE) committed to employing a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.**_ **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $90,000.00-$95,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - RRSP match - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - trailer rental/service industry: 5 years (required) Licence/Certification: - Truck and Coach Technician Certification (required) Work Location: In person
