Administrative Assistant/receptionist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a professional setting. The role is part time (20 hrs/week) but requires full time (40 hrs/week) from mid February to mid June in busy season. Remainder of the year is part time. Perks include lunches in busy season and 3-day long weekends from June to August.
**Duties**:
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and data entry
- Follow up on outstanding receivables
- Keep reception area tidy and presentable
**Skills**:
- Experience in an office setting is preferred
- Proficient in customer support and front desk operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with computerized systems for scheduling and record-keeping
- Typing speed and accuracy are essential for this role
- Ability to get along with staff and clients

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
