**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, schedule, and dispatch daily pick-up and delivery operations for a fleet of ten trucks.
- Monitor and manage multiple routes, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Communicate clearly with drivers to provide accurate instructions and address any issues that arise.
- Adjust schedules and routes in real-time based on traffic conditions, warehouse capacity, and other relevant factors.
- Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse managers and clients to ensure seamless coordination and high service standards.
- Handle emergency situations and resolve driver or route-related issues promptly.

**Qualifications**:

- **Proven Experience**: At least 2-3 years of experience as a dispatcher in logistics, transportation, or a related field. Experience specifically in managing trucking operations in an urban environment like the GTA is highly preferred.
- **Industry Knowledge**: Familiarity with the logistics and transportation industry, including an understanding of regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- **Strong Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and routes simultaneously, ensuring efficient and timely operations.
- **Excellent Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey clear instructions to drivers and collaborate effectively with warehouse staff, clients, and other stakeholders.
- **Problem-Solving Ability**: Capable of thinking on your feet and making quick, effective decisions in response to unforeseen challenges such as traffic delays, warehouse issues, or driver emergencies.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and other relevant technology tools. Experience with fleet management software is a plus.
- **Attention to Detail**: A meticulous approach to planning and record-keeping, ensuring that all dispatch activities are logged accurately and compliance with company policies is maintained.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $16.55-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Dispatching: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- Mandarin (preferred)
