Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills? We are seeking a dedicated Dispatch professional to join our team full time and play a crucial role in our operations.

Cardinal Towing is a leading provider of towing and roadside assistance services in the Markham/Stouffville area (Ontario). We take pride in our team's dedication to providing timely and reliable service to those in need of assistance.

Our office staff consists of a small but tight-knit group of hard-working individuals who are excited to add someone new.

We are looking for someone who is energetic and maintains a positive attitude. The ability to multitask is a great asset.

As an integral member of our office team, we need someone able to assist within multiple areas of the office. Dispatch being the main focus of the role but will also include assisting our Impound department and occasionally handling general office duties.

**Dispatch related**:

- Enter service requests into office computer system
- Dispatch drivers
- Operate radio equipment
- Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigational equipment
- Operate dispatch management service software

**Impound related**:

- Enter impounds into office computer system
- Assist with weekly impound review; generate scheduled notification letters
- There will be occasions requiring attending the impound yard (all weather conditions) to relocate vehicles and/or attending with vehicle owners to facilitate access to vehicles and assist with releases.

**General Office**:

- Answer phone calls
- Deal with the motoring public
- Data entry
- Filing/Pulling files

We currently require an individual who possesses the following skill set:

- **Must be fluent in English**:

- **Must have a valid G license**:

- **Must be able to pass a criminal background check**:

- Proficient computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Works well under pressure in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
- Strong customer service skills both in person & on the phone.

Previous experience in the towing industry is an asset but not a requirement.
- **The shift schedule varies Monday to Friday with hours ranging from 7am to 7pm (Until training is completed hours will be 8am-5pm M-F).**_
- **A minimum of one weekend out of every four weeks is also required (Sat-Sun 10am-5pm).**_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
