Language Program Assistant

**Job Overview**
The Program Assistant plays a vital role in providing administrative support to the Program Administrators, Instructors and clients in our English as a Second Language courses.
- **Some weekends and evenings are required**_

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in client online/onsite registration into LINC and other Language Programs and perform/complete all tasks in the registration process
- Assist with coordination of events (e.g. new student orientations, PD days, Field trips, LINC staff meetings, booking rooms/passes, promotional opportunities)

**Key Qualifications**
- Post-secondary Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Teaching English as a Second Language, or a related field
- Previous experience in Administration or a related role
- Proficient in computer technology, with exceptional skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and data entry
- Flexible and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Problem-solving skills and resourcefulness to develop new ideas and administrative procedures
- Culturally competent, familiar with serving clients from diverse backgrounds
- Fluent in other languages is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8.5 months

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
