**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Vendor Relationship Management**:

- Assist in developing and maintaining strong partnerships with haulers, recyclers, and service providers.
- Support the vendor onboarding process, ensuring all compliance and documentation are complete.
- **Procurement Support**:

- Work with the Procurement team to source new vendors and evaluate competitive bids.
- Support rate negotiations to ensure cost-effective service while maintaining quality.
- Maintain accurate vendor records, pricing, and service agreements in the company database.
- **Contract Administration**:

- Assist in reviewing, drafting, and managing vendor contracts and amendments.
- Track contract expiration dates and coordinate renewals or rebids as needed.
- **Data & Cost Analysis**:

- Conduct market research and gather pricing trends to support decision-making.
- Assist in preparing cost comparisons and reports for internal review.
- **Operational Coordination**:

- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure vendor services align with customer expectations.
- Help resolve vendor-related issues including missed pickups, billing discrepancies, or service concerns.
- **Compliance & Reporting**:

- Ensure vendors comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on vendor performance and cost savings initiatives.

**EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management (SCMP), Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or a related role such as logistics, shipping and inventory.
- Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with procurement or CRM systems is an asset.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**WORK CONDITIONS & SCHEDULE**:

- Location: Onsite at our Edmonton head office
- Work Hours: 8am to 4pm, Mondays to Fridays
