Accounts Payable Clerk Ii

Position Summary:
Acuren is currently hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist who is dedicated, energetic, professional, and detail oriented to join our Team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Lead, this position based in our Sherwood Park office plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions while supporting the overall financial operations of the company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review, verify and accurately process invoices, expense claims, and company credit card transactions in a timely manner
- Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies and/or non-compliance with policies and practices
- Ensure account allocation within the general ledger/sub ledger is accurate
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding errors or delays in payments
- Work with field offices and vendors to research issues and provide support
- Review statements of vendor accounts to ensure all invoices have been received
- New vendor set-ups
- Monthly reconciliation of multiple company credit cards.
- Prepare cheques on an ad hoc basis as required
- Perform month end close activities as required

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting or a related discipline (preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable
- Experience in a multi-site environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced office setting
