Some examples may include: - Preparing correspondence, performing data entry, and creating a variety of documents (e.g., communications, presentations, marketing material, web content, news releases, etc.) - Assisting in preparing, editing, and proofreading various documents or products - Supporting communication and/or project activities (e.g., planning conferences, events, tours, etc.) - Supporting marketing and/or communications campaigns across key media platforms, such as online, interactive, print, radio, and television - Liaising with stakeholders and partners to review products and ensure messaging goals are clearly understood - Researching latest trends in technology, social media, and consumer behaviour to develop recommendations for communications and/or marketing initiatives - Participating in project-related meetings to identify priorities, needs, goals, and issues and effectively relay key messages back to the team **How do I qualify?**: **Mandatory**: You must meet **all** eligibility criteria by the first day of employment (contracts begin between May and July): - **Age**: You must be a minimum of 15 years of age. There is no maximum age limit. - ** Residency**: You must be a resident of Ontario during the term of employment. - ** Work Status**: You must be legally entitled to work in Canada and have a valid Canadian Social Insurance Number (SIN) for the full duration of your summer employment. **Please note this position is bilingual (English / French).
