Personal Assistant for University Student

**Job Description**:
Hiring urgently for remaining of school year.

I am a student with a physical disability attending law school at York University. I am seeking an assistant to help me while on campus and at my legal clinic placement in downtown Toronto.

**Location**:
Toronto, Ontario

Work Setting:

- Assist student with a physical disability commuting from home to York University, and while on campus.
- Assist student with a physical disability commuting from home to placement, and while at the placement.

Terms of Employment:

- ~30 hours per week, may vary weekly
- Salary: ~750/week
- Start date - (ASAP - April 5th)

Required education:

- High school or equivalent

Skills Required:

- Excellent command of English
- Flexible, dependable, and reliable
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Strong typing skills
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Job duties:

- Assist client while commuting/traveling
- Note taking and providing care during lectures and while at placement
- Providing care with feeding
- Assist client with winter apparel
- Assist with repositioning arms, legs, head as needed
- Help set up computer, phone, etc.
- Assist with other needs as necessary

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
