Marketing Student

Go Online Marketing is a Toronto-based interactive Web Development and Digital Marketing agency, dedicated to attaining results for our clients.

We are looking for a talented and passionate marketing student who is currently enrolled in University or College with a marketing major to join our team. Someone who possesses a positive go-getter attitude, and is energetic, conscientious, detail oriented, very organized and has the passion to make a difference while enjoying challenges and experiences. The right individual will require mínimal supervision, self-motivated, work well with others, flexible, and open to learning new skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Generate leads for our own agency brands through social channels and book consultations with our sales team
- Asist in creating social media ads through Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn while implementing tracking codes for social media ad retargeting
- Communicate with clients regularly

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program majoring in marketing, communications, advertising and/or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of social media marketing experience
- Knowledge of social media tools
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous experience working in an office environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Marketing and Communications an asset
- Proficient with website and online tools, an asset
- Strong computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented
- Ability to take direction, work independently and manage multiple accounts/tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work on many tasks concurrently
- Strong attention to details
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about our industry and from our team
- Ability and willingness to interface with all levels and departments within the company
- A Self-starter, self-motivated personality, who can take initiatives
- Hardworking and enthusiastic
- Very organized, with the ability to meet tight deadlines, deal with multiple requests, and when in doubt, ask questions

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills and comfortable speaking in client/project meetings

- Fluent in English
- Must have a passion for marketing and the Internet

**Nice to Have**:

- Knowledge of third-party social media management tools like Buffer, HootSuite, etc.
- Some knowledge of HTML, PHP, Wordpress
- Experience with video editing tools
- Project Management skills
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign
- Some knowledge of other online marketing services such as SEO, SEM, etc.
- Past Experience in Sales or Customer Service is an asset
- Knowledge or experience in Sales and Marketing, Client Relations and Business Development an Asset
- Experience working with photo editing software (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) an asset

**Salary**: $15.50-$15.60 per hour
