**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated Collection Agent to join our team. The Collection Agent will be responsible for contacting customers and clients to collect outstanding payments, negotiate payment plans, and maintain accurate records of all collection activities.

**Duties**:

- Investigate delinquent accounts and recommend actions to resolve outstanding balances
- Document daily collections activity on collection report including payment details
- Utilize Quickbooks to track and update account statuses
- Assist Bookkeeper by making appropriate adjustments and/or changes
- Reconcile accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for accurately

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in accounts receivable or financial services
- Strong ability to analyze customer accounts and financial situations
- Excellent negotiation skills to establish payment arrangements
- Proficiency in using Quickbooks for tracking purposes
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Basic math skills for calculating payments and balances
- Familiarity with account reconciliation processes
- Knowledge of accounts payable procedures is a plus

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
