What will you do?

This role is to support the Explosion (Ex) Officer for production. They will help set up factory audits, host auditors, and support the Explosion Officer in their duties Ex duties, in addition to supporting other certifications.

• Support the provision of training (based on the one from by Ex-Commissary) to local procurement / purchaser / SQM (CE) in charge of Ex suppliers and provides training to all production employees in charge of Ex conformal steps when onboarded, after significant Ex relevant product upgrades or absences
• Manages the list of employees who are trained and keep the training records.
• Help the Ex officer to ensure that Ex-suppliers are trained to assure their ability to deliver conformal products.
• Cooperates with the local quality management (including Internal Auditors and Auditors of Ex-suppliers).
• Helps to prepare and present an annual Ex-report as part of the local entity Quality Management Review (cc to the Ex-commissary DI PA). This should include the state of new Ex-product introduction, Ex-trainings, Non-Conformities of shipped Ex-products, audits from external certification bodies, internal audits with quantity of comments and if performed quantity of Ex-supplier audits (on-site/remote).

What will you need to succeed?

• Good Knowledge of the current QM- Standards (e.g. ISO 9001 lead auditor)
• Basic Knowledge of IEC
• Basic Knowledge of the different type of explosion protection (Ex i, IS, d, XP, ec, NI, Ex p, X, Y, Z) which are used in respective factory location.
• Good product knowledge in order to be able to apply the standards
• Strong problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, effective communication, and the capability to identify and prevent errors, as well as guide teams in correcting improper practices.

Location: You will be required to work from the Peterborough location until such time as operational requirements necessitate your transition to the Concord location.
