Payroll and Billing Clerk

**As a Billing and Payroll Clerk, you will**:

- Compute and manually calculate accurately weekly timecards.
- Following up on outstanding queries on timecards and consult with employees on discrepancies
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely recording for all transactions
- Assist with the billing process
- Preparation and distribution of bills
- Preparation of write-down and write-off forms
- Process and balance invoice batched through accounting systems
- Ensure account authorizations are obtained and filed for charge accounts
- Support and assist in the reporting, recording, and collection
- Communicate with appropriate staff for billing information and customer contacts for reporting and recording accounts receivables
- Prepare various payroll reconciliations
- Code documents using the proper classification of earnings and accounting codes
- Record payroll data in Payroll System preferable People Soft
- Assist Payroll Team Lead with identification and backup require with respect to billing area (efforts)
- Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures
- Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.

Job Qualification

**As a Billing and Payroll Clerk, must have**:

- 3-5 years accounting experience is preferred
- Payroll/Accounting Program or courses is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to make accurate mathematical calculations.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft and Procura is an advantage
- Ability to accurately manually calculate time sheets
- Demonstrated ability to control and balance various accounting records and summaries.
- Ability to meet frequent deadlines
- Proficiency in written and spoken English a must.
