**JOB TITLE: Recruiter**

**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**

As part of the Corporate Services team you report directly to the VP, People & Brand, and play a critical role in sourcing exceptional talent to the brokerage across all branches.

**OBJECTIVES**
- Collaborate with the VP, People & Brand to quantify the current and future hiring needs of the organization
- Operate proactively to build, grow and maintain a talent pool of qualified prospective employees

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Networking and Proactive Recruiting**
- Linked In, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
- Educational Institutions - McEwan University, University of Alberta, Concordia University, AIC, IBAA, IIC
- Industry networking events
- Stay abreast of industry trends, education requirements, and competitor hiring practices
- Nurture relationships within the recruiting funnel
- Represent CMB at external and internal events

**Job Postings and Hiring Process**
- Post and manage all active position vacancies
- Communicate with the HR Administrator to create Offers of Employment
- Facilitate the onboarding process by remaining present and available for new employees

**CMB TEAM SUPPORT**
- Be familiar with and follow company policies and procedures as established (Employee Handbook, policies, and procedures, etc.)
- Attend, participate and lead with Traction EOS, department L10s, staff meetings and other company functions
- Demonstrate good leadership qualities with a positive attitude and ability to motivate others
- Other related duties as required

**KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**
- 5+ years’ of Recruiting experience
- 2+ years’ experience with commercial insurance experience is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed
- Microsoft Office
