**DESCRIPTION**:
Homestead Land Holdings Limited, one of Canada’s largest privately held owner/developer/manager of multi-residential apartments, is seeking a full-time, Engineering & Building Services, Administrative Assistant in Burlington.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide diversified administrative support to our Engineering and Building Services Department in a fast-paced office environment
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential information
- Preparation of various letters, reports, spreadsheets, contracts, and meeting minutes
- Accounts Payable
- Preparing bi-weekly payroll file
- Assist in onboarding of new team members
- Responsible for a variety of general office duties
- Carry out special projects
- Other duties as assigned
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education in an administrative or business-related discipline is preferred
- Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset
- High level of technical competence using computers, including Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Autodesk, Yardi and internet usage
- Excellent keyboarding skills
- Strong work ethic
- Professional articulate manner
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy and follow-up
- Efficient time manager with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
