We are looking for a Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team **Availability**: Immediate This is a dynamic position that interacts daily with: - Suppliers - Customers - Employees - Management - **Responsibilities**:_ - Data-Entry (QuickBooks, MS Office, Inventory Control) - Interaction with Customers and Suppliers - from RFQ through to Order Fulfilment - Co-ordinating with Production, Operations and Project Managers - Being a source of information to all departments - Hourly Personnel coordination - Finance/Accounting: AP/AR, HST and WSIB remittance, bank reconciliations - Sales: provide quotations to customers; - Purchasing: Monitor, procure and fulfill material/labour requirement requests; - Production: ensure information and materials are arranged to support a smooth production run. - Update all required information using the internal project management system - Provides positive customer service. - Active familiarization with production activities as customer orders are processed. - Material/inventory management - Communicate and elevate customer inquiries/concerns in a timely manner. - Support continuous improvement initiatives. - Administrative tasks and filing. - Any additional tasks required by Management - **Required Skills**:_ - College and/or University diploma/degree in business or a relevant discipline. - Minimum of 5+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of related education and experience; - Working knowledge of QuickBooks - Strong attention to detail; - Able to adapt in a fast paced environment; - Ability to develop and/or contribute to business analysis and business requirements gathering and documentation; - Calm and patient under pressure; - Self-motivated, assertive, and proactive; - Previous experience in a customer service/supportive role within in a manufacturing, construction, or architectural environment an asset - **We thank all applicants for their interest, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted._ - **No Agency/Recruiter solicitations_ - **About the Company**_ Griffin Technology is a leading powder coating company in Ontario that is serious about quality and customer satisfaction.
