**Objectives and Responsibilities   **

The AA will support management in fulfilling the day-to-day administrative responsibilities as well as support program staff with administrative requirements. The AA will provide a welcoming experience for visitors; coordinate meeting room and van bookings; support records management; some social media/ website responsibilities as requested/needed, provide support to the Executive Director; manage inventory of supplies; and more. 

**Qualifications**:

- Other combinations of education and experience will be considered. 
- High school diploma/GED. 
- Minimum 1 year experience in a receptionist and/or administrative role. 
- Experience working in an Indigenous organization is considered an asset   
- Strong knowledge and awareness of Indigenous culture and history,  
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). 
- Familiarity with design software (e.g. InDesign, Canva, etc.) and social media platforms. 
- Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
- Good judgement, professional, reliable, and responsible. 
- Demonstrated problem-solving and interpersonal skills. 
- Valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle & be willing to travel when required;   
- Must possess current First Aid / CPR certification or be willing to be certified;   
- Indigenous heritage a preference; (ref: Aboriginal Employment Preference Policy); and,   
- A satisfactory Criminal Reference Check (CPIC) with a Vulnerable Sector Search (VSS) will be a condition of the employment offer.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 months

Pay: $41,925.00-$45,025.00 per year
