Support Specialist Translations

As part of the Ontario Business Support Centre you will provide translation and administrative support to the business.

The responsibilities of the Support Specialist are, but not limited to:

- Preparing resumes, formal references and other documents in both English and French as requested working with the Global Translation team
- Proofreading/validating French translations as requested working with the Global Translation team
- Occasionally creating and managing French Canadian translation projects within Trados Live to support the Global Translations team
- Keeping a clean and updated database (Salesforce)
- Preparing communications as follow up to interview meetings and sending registration documents via eDocs
- Set up contractors for evaluations and manage the results
- Back up coverage to the Customer Support Specialist, which includes incoming call handling in both English and French

EXPERIENCE & PROFILE REQUIRED
- 1+ years working in a customer service role
- Proven experience in Québec French translation
- Experience using SDL Trados is an asset
Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating that the customer is always at the centre of what you do
- Proven ability act with a sense of urgency and solve problems.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and Sharepoint
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with team members customers, and key stakeholders in a virtual/remote environment
- Strong personal brand
- Ability to work effectively in a continually changing environment and under high pressure
- Ability to deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision

Vous ferez partie du Centre de soutien aux activités d’affaires de l’Ontario, où vous fournirez un soutien administratif et de traduction à l’entreprise.

Les responsabilités du ou de la spécialiste sont, mais sans s’y limiter, les suivantes:

- Préparer les curriculum vitae, les références officielles et d’autres documents en français et en anglais sur demande, en collaboration avec l’équipe Global Translations.
- Réviser/valider des traductions en français au besoin, en collaboration avec l’équipe Global Translations.
- Occasionnellement créer et gérer des projets de traduction vers le français canadien au sein de Trados Live pour soutenir l’équipe Global Translations
- Maintenir une base de données propre et mise à jour (Salesforce)
- Préparer les communications de suivi après les réunions d’entrevues et envoyer les documents d’inscription via eDocs
- Mettre en place des évaluations pour les entrepreneurs et gérer les résultats
- Soutenir au besoin le ou la spécialiste du service à la clientèle, ce qui comprend le traitement des appels entrants en anglais et en français

EXPÉRIENCE ET PROFIL REQUIS
- Plus de 1 ans de service client
- Expérience éprouvée en traduction vers le français québécois
- L’expérience avec SDL Trados est un atout
Compétences exceptionnelles en matière de service à la clientèle, démontrant que le client est toujours au centre de ce que vous faites
- Capacité éprouvée à agir avec un sentiment d’urgence et à résoudre des problèmes
- Maîtrise de la suite MS Office et de SharePoint.
- Capacité à établir et à maintenir des relations efficaces avec les membres de l’équipe, les clients et les parties prenantes clés dans un environnement de télétravail/virtuel
