**Position Overview**:
The **Vice President (VP) of Marketing** is a strategic leader responsible for driving brand growth, market positioning, and demand generation. This role encompasses overseeing marketing efforts for a company that delivers cutting-edge SaaS solutions, innovative hardware/software technologies, and advanced analytics. The VP of Marketing will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and growth objectives. This position demands a balance of creative vision, technical knowledge, and leadership to achieve business success.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Marketing Strategy and Leadership**
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that encompasses SaaS, hardware, and software product lines.
Lead and inspire a cross-functional marketing team, including brand, product, content, and digital marketing specialists.
Establish clear marketing goals and KPIs, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
- **Demand Generation and Revenue Growth**
Drive pipeline growth and revenue through targeted demand generation campaigns.
Partner closely with the sales team to align on revenue objectives and optimize lead-to-revenue processes.
- **Brand and Market Positioning**
Enhance Mapsted’s brand visibility and thought leadership within the SaaS and technology sectors.
Develop compelling messaging and positioning that highlights the unique value of Mapsted’s offerings.
Oversee public relations and media strategies to increase brand awareness and reputation.
- **Product Marketing**
Define go-to-market strategies for new product launches, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to ensure successful rollouts.
Craft clear and impactful messaging for SaaS and hardware/software solutions tailored to various customer segments.
Equip the sales team with effective tools, collateral, and training to drive customer acquisition and retention.
- **Digital and Content Marketing**
Develop and oversee content creation, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and webinars, to establish thought leadership.
Utilize analytics platforms to track campaign performance and continuously refine strategies for optimal ROI.
- **Customer and Market Insights**
Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, customer pain points, and competitive opportunities.
Develop detailed customer personas and journey maps to guide marketing strategies.
Leverage customer feedback and data to inform product development and improve marketing effectiveness.
- **Team Development and Collaboration**
Build and nurture a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, and Customer Success, to ensure cohesive execution of marketing initiatives.
Manage external vendor and agency relationships to maximize the impact of outsourced projects.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- **Experience**:
10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven expertise in marketing SaaS solutions, hardware/software products, or similar technology offerings.
Experience scaling marketing teams and initiatives in high-growth technology companies.
- **Skills**:
Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies for SaaS and hardware/software products.
Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, and CRM systems.
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.
