**Duties and responsibilities**

The primarily responsibilities of the associate are as follows:

- Manager the recruitment and selection processes.

- Develop and implement HR policies.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Provide guidance on employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Plan and execute onboarding programs.
- Implement performance appraisal processes.
- Identify training needs and organize programs.
- Maintain employee records and databases.
- Promote workplace safety and compliance.
- Identify and nurture high-potential employees.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Manage employee separations and conduct exit interviews.
- Must abide by all company policies and procedures.

**Requirements and skills**
- A degree/certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration.
- Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation or the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation an asset.
- 1 - 2 years of relevant HR experience in various HR functions like recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR strategy.
- Good understanding of Canadian Labour laws, employment standards, and regulations.
- Experience leading and managing a team of HR professionals.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills in handling employee relations, conflict resolution, and working with various stakeholders.
- Familiar with HR strategic planning, decision-making, alignment of HR practices with business goals.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
