Conduct research and analysis on best practices to advance implementation of the Greater Downtown Plan and downtown revitalization.
- Provide support towards implementation and advancement of various Downtown Strategy programs such as the incentive programs and Downtown Vibrancy Grant Program.
- Investigate and summarize current examples of downtown initiatives and projects associated with barrier removal for development and activation.
- Support the team on special projects and priority initiatives as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Enrolled in a diploma or degree program in Planning, Urban Studies, Public Policy, Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate and Marketing, or related field.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Some proficiency in financial analysis is preferred.
- Previous experience in downtown context, Real Estate and Marketing will be considered an asset.
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS/ArcGIS) and Adobe Suite (ie. Illustrator, InDesign) will also be considered an asset.
- Success in this position requires the ability to manage work, initiate action, use strong decision making skills and applied learning, and a desire to contribute to the team's success.

**Pre-Employment Requirements**
- Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2025.

Compensation: $28.88 per hour (2025 Rates)
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
- work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
- Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
