Accommodations are available during the hiring process, upon request.- Provide support and assistance to Policy Analysts and Policy Advisors on business unit policy development and public policy projects involving environmental and jurisdictional scans, literature reviews, and research on historical municipal and provincial decisions.
- Work on special projects as assigned to support the Policy and Strategy team on improvement initiatives, enhance legislative and policy compliance, and priorities for legislative and regulatory reform.
- Conduct research and gather information on emerging issues, trends, risks and innovations to inform policy decision-making.

**Qualifications**
- Enrolled in a diploma or degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Policy studies, Public Administration, Business or a related field with an interest in public policy and governance.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Time management skills, including the ability to plan and organize information.

**Pre-Employment Requirements**
- Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2025.
