Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented E-Commerce Specialist & Order Fulfillment Coordinator to help continue building our online presence while managing the full order fulfillment process. This dynamic role will focus on maintaining and improving our e-commerce platform, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring orders are efficiently packed and prepared for shipping. Role Objectives
The E-Commerce Specialist & Order Fulfillment Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
E-Commerce Growth & Online Presence
- Manage and update product listings on the e-commerce platform (e.g., website, marketplaces, or other online storefronts).
- Ensure all product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate and up to date.
- Partner with the Marketing Team: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies to grow online sales through targeted promotions, seasonal campaigns, and SEO enhancements. Contribute to content and site optimization to boost traffic and visibility.
- Monitor and Improve Site Performance: Track website analytics to identify trends and recommend enhancements to the customer experience. Provide input on navigation, product pages, and checkout processes to ensure a seamless and engaging shopping journey.
Order Management & Fulfillment
- Process incoming orders in a timely and organized manner.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
- Manage shipping logistics, including generating shipping labels, arranging courier pickups, and tracking deliveries.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular stock checks and reporting low or unavailable items.
- Ensure a clean, organized workspace to maintain efficiency during order packing.
Customer Support
- Assist with customer inquiries related to online orders, products, and shipping timelines.
- Address and resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care.
- Provide post-purchase support, including order updates, returns, and refunds when required.
Role Qualifications
- Prior experience in e-commerce, order fulfillment, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon Marketplace) is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Basic understanding of shipping carriers and logistics.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift and pack items as required.
