**Junior Web Merchandising Specialist**

**About the Role**

Based on-site at our Calgary Head Office.

The Junior Web Merchandising Specialist will be responsible for the merchandising of products and content of Visions.ca. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow your career in E-Commerce & Digital Marketing while working for one of Canada’s largest Consumer Electronics retailers. Reporting to the Manager, E-Commerce, you will work closely with the E-Commerce & Digital Marketing team and will deliver projects, campaigns, and optimizations to drive the continuous improvement of on-site experience and support the growth of the E-Commerce channel.

**Responsibilities**
- Create, manage and optimize our online product catalog through our CMS.
- Perform regular QA, accuracy of specifications, marketing materials, etc. on products and pages on the website ensuring they meet visual and code standards.
- Work closely with category buyers, third-party vendors, marketing and graphic design teams to build pages on the website.
- Setup and manage promotional banners on the website.
- Working cross-functionally to ensure promotions are executed accurately.
- Support the team with analysis & reporting.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Digital, Marketing or Communications ideal.
- Have a Customer-First attitude.
- Comfortable working in a fast agile environment and dealing with change with a positive attitude.
- 1 year experience working with Content Management Systems.
- 1 year experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Working experience with HTML and CSS.
- Previous experience with Google Analytics.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
- Solid team player, great communication skills, continuous willingness to learn.
- Previous experience with Adobe Commerce / Magento is a plus.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.

**Experience**:

- Digital marketing: 1 year (preferred)
