- **The Role**_
- We’re hiring a part-time _**Event Coordinator**_ _to lead the execution of events at The Loft on 5th, working closely with our _**Event Sales Coordinator**_ _(who also supports our coworking community). Together, you'll ensure events run smoothly from start to finish—sales and promotion on one side, logistics and coordination on the other.Once a contract is signed, you’ll take the reins: confirming details with vendors and clients, supporting event setup and takedown, and coordinating on-site as needed. Some rentals are simple space bookings, others involve full service planning and execution. You’ll tailor your role accordingly.We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment, is organized and proactive, and wants to grow with us as we build something special in this space._
- **Key Responsibilities**_
- **Pre-Event Coordination**_
- _Collaborate with the Event Sales Coordinator on client handoff_
- _Finalize event schedules, layouts, and vendor details_
- _Coordinate furniture setup and any requested equipment_
- _Liaise with clients in the lead-up to their event, answering logistics-related questions and confirming final details_
- **Event Execution**_
- _Oversee or support event setup and takedown (including transforming coworking space as needed)_
- _Greet clients, ensure A/V and other systems are working, and be on-call during events_
- _Provide day-of coordination for weddings, holiday parties, and other high-touch events (as booked)_
- _Restore space to coworking-ready condition post-event_
- **Team Collaboration & Development**_
- _Attend weekly check-ins with Event Sales Coordinator and biweekly Tuesday afternoon team meetings_
- _Contribute to shared marketing initiatives and brainstorm ways to improve our event services_
- _Help refine systems and processes as we grow_

- _Confident working independently but collaborative by nature_
- _Curious and creative—someone who enjoys problem-solving and seeing a space come to life_
- _Available to work Tuesday afternoons, one additional half day per week (flexible, in-office), and evenings/weekends as events are booked_
- **Role Details**_
- _Part-time: ~10-12 hours/week to start, with opportunity to grow as events increase_
- _Pay: $19 -$21/hour_
- _Location: Lethbridge (in-office presence required for planning days and events)_
- _Start date: ASAP_

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 12 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
