**Job Title**:Event Coordinator
**Reports to**: Director of Sales & Business Development (Manager)
**Job Type**: Full Time
**Expected Hours**: 40 Hrs/Week - Tuesday - Saturday
**JOB SUMMARY**
The primary responsibility of the role is through a team approach, plan and coordinate the events with clients. Working with the DOS and Sales team to plan events and see them through to completion.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Event Planning & Coordination_
- Be the point of contact for clients once their event is booked, guiding them through every detail.
- Meet with clients to gather event specifics, recording all details into our catering software.
- Create event layouts and timelines in collaboration with clients, ensuring every aspect is covered.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and banquet staff to ensure smooth execution.
- Assist with pick-ups and drop-offs for smaller orders, managing these events from start to finish.
- Client Relations_
- Build strong rapport with clients, delivering top-tier customer service and handling inquiries promptly.
- Provide payment reminders, invoices, and assist with special pricing requests as needed.
- Identify upselling opportunities in collaboration with the Sales Coordinator.
- Teamwork & Communication_
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Sales team, Kitchen, and Banquet managers.
- Attend venue meetings and outside venue tours as required.
- Communicate regularly with your manager to discuss special requests and new ideas.
