**The opportunity**:
The EleV Learning Hubs Coordinator position is required to support the relationship between the University and all four Learning Hub locations, and for the ongoing coordination of EleV Learning Hub equipment and technology procurement, operations, activities, and events including in-community Learning Hub open house’s, career fairs, launches, and other identified collaborative projects and priority areas of the Learning Hubs team. The EleV Learning Hubs Coordinator position is an important role to coordinate with internal and external specialists and vendors to address space design and equipment needs of the Learning Hub locations. Reporting to and working closely with the Learning Hubs Supervisor, the EleV Learning Hubs Coordinator will conduct the necessary research to inform the implementation and ongoing coordination of the Learning Hubs portfolio including learning technology needs, education and training opportunities for external Learning Hub staff, community-based postsecondary education program partners, and admission requirements for MB postsecondary institutions.
**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:
- Completion of a formal training program in a related field is required.
- Post-secondary degree is an asset.
- Minimum of 4 years directly related experience is required.
- Knowledge of Indigenous cultures is required.
- Experience within a post-secondary institution is preferred.
- Working knowledge of university policies and procedures, understanding of the relationship between various units and decision-making bodies are preferred.
- Accounting software experience in Concur and EPIC is preferred.
- Writing, and editorial experience is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience with Indigenous organization is preferred.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneNote) is required.
- Strong Indigenous cultural awareness and knowledge required.
- Strong critical thinking skills required.
- High degree of competency with online meeting software required.
- Strong time management skill required.
- Proficient in multi-tasking to meet multiple deadlines required.
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to anticipate and resolve problems required.
- Excellent oral and written communication are required.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment required.
- Ability to perform all duties in a professional and diplomatic manner required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
