Founded in 1907, The Manitoba School Boards Association (MSBA) is a non-profit organization providing advocacy, leadership and services in support of the work of the province’s 38 public school boards.

Reporting to the Director, Governance and Professional Development Services, the Learning and Development Administrator is accountable for administrative and technical tasks that support and promote board governance and school board professional development.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will:

- Maintain and enhance our Learning Management System (LMS): Lead the day-to-day activities, update content, and troubleshoot issues.
- Support professional development events and conferences: Develop event management databases, distribute promotional materials, and manage registrations.
- Provide administrative support: Prepare draft correspondence, assist with general office services, and support partner organizations in joint initiatives.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you should have:

- A diploma in a two-year post-secondary administrative, human resource, or learning and development training program, with a minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preference will be given to those with experience in Brightspace or government/education sector experience.
- Fluency in French is considered an asset.

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
