Where you will focus the majority of your work: Recruitment
- We are growing in many areas of the business, and therefore have a high volume of roles that require hands-on care and management in order to attract, hire, and retain amazing people like you
- Efforts span across all entities under the One Planet Group umbrella (such as AutoWeb and Buyerlink).
- You will be responsible for driving the recruitment program from getting the job posting live all the way to onboarding new team members.
Scope of responsibilities:
- Represent the organization at career fairs, on job boards, and other networking events.
- Help maintain employee records in our HRIS system to ensure people-related information is up to date and accurate.
- Produce monthly HR reports - analyses include headcount, compensation, attrition to help drive overall people ops strategy.
- Maintain People-related policies and documents; Including employee handbook, onboarding, contracts.
- Collaborate with the broader People Ops team and PR team to help drive culture & engagement initiatives, such as Service Day activities and rewards programs.
- Ad hoc special HR projects, as assigned by your manager or the VP of People (like coordinating swag for team events, supporting.
Key skills:
- Maintaining confidentiality. You handle sensitive information appropriately, with respect and care.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills, paired with strong critical thinking. In your HR Coordinator role, it's imperative to be able to effectively communicate your ideas to a diverse audience of stakeholders. For example, this translates to the internal HR reports you will have a hand in creating, along with the recruitment touchpoints you will drive.
- Can-do attitude and hustle. In the fast-paced world of recruitment in particular, it's important to be proactive and enthusiastic in order to attract and retain top talent.
You are:
- Great at following up on tasks, seeking out answers, and pushing projects forward
- Highly adaptive and have a high tolerance for ambiguity
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Proactive and lead with a positive attitude when it comes to problem solving
- Experienced with Google Business Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet).
- Passionate about people and culture Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working in People Ops is an asset.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 CAD
