**Job Title**: Restaurant Manager - _Gurulukshmi_ & _Parambarai_
**Location**: 7070 Saint Barbara Blvd, Mississauga, ON
**About Us**:
- Gurulukshmi_ is a renowned vegetarian South Indian restaurant that has earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition. We are now expanding with a new venture, _Parambarai_, a sister restaurant that will specialize in non-vegetarian South Indian dishes. As we continue to grow, we are looking for two experienced Restaurant Managers—one for _Gurulukshmi_ and one for _Parambarai_. These managers will be key to maintaining our high standards and ensuring outstanding customer experiences at both locations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the daily operations of _Gurulukshmi_ or _Parambarai_, ensuring efficient service and smooth operations.
- Lead, train, and manage a team of front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and support staff.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service in a welcoming environment.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally to maintain positive relationships.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the restaurant.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food quality and timely delivery of orders.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
- Prepare and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during busy hours.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve restaurant efficiency and guest experience.
- Collaborate with senior management on budget management, marketing, and promotional activities.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and continuous improvement.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven experience in managing daily operations in a high-volume restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, kitchen coordination, and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both staff and guests.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, ensuring consistent quality and service.
- Knowledge of inventory management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Must be proficient in either Hindi or any South Indian language to facilitate smooth customer relations.
- A hospitality degree is a plus but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
